007: First Light
A game I was truly looking forward too since the announcement was 007, when I was young I played 007: Tomorrow Never Dies on my PlayStation 1, and I remember of never having finished that game and still played and replayed it for hours getting stuck on the ski mission every time. So yesterday I tried out the newly released game and it amazed me, the first mission was just getting to know how to play Spoiler — click to revealand no guns 🙁 which could hook me since it looked so good hence I am using a NVIDIA RTX 2080 graphicscard, it ran all so smoothly what surprised me. And then the intro credits rolled with music playing and that completely threw me back to James Bond movies, wow! They really did an amazing job, and I only have played for 75 minutes. I will write more in the future about me playing through this game as I am certain this weekend will be packed with playing it. 😀
The Nintendo Switch 2
After long thinking about getting myself a switch I finally caved and bought myself the Nintendo Switch 2 with the Pokopia game. The unpacking and booting it up was a nice experience I liked how they added the music during the configuration, updating the console didn’t took long either, it was done in a jiffy and installing Pokopia was relatively quick as well. The battery time is weak, it did not take long before I had to recharge it, given how I will use it this will not be a huge issue as I will have power outlets nearby.
Pokopia
Pokopia I had a good idea about since I watched every trailer for it, I thought initially I would not like it as it is more intended for kids, but here I was wrong and it sucked a couple hours of my time since playing it. Discovering new Pokemons, rebuilding the land, and just general discovering the Pokemon world, some nostalgia hit hard as I felt like a kid again!
Overall I’m having fun with two games that brought me joy in different ways, it has been long since I felt this excited about games.
